Dr. Ettikan Kandasamy Karuppiah, Director of Developers Ecosystem at Nvidia, South East Asia region assists innovators, researchers and techno-entrepreneurs to accelerate GPU adaptation for their R&D and software solutioning needs. He has direct experience and passionate in accelerated computing/software research/deep learning, design and development covering end-to-end needs. He has published numerous publications, patents and software libraries from current and past work.
Mr. Usman Sarwar
Software Architect (IoT connectivity) at Intel Corporation
Usman Sarwar is a technologist and a software systems architect working on IoT connectivity technologies in Intel’s IoT group having fifteen years of R&D and software development experience. He has diverse technical background by working on areas related to IoT connectivity technologies and protocols, middleware protocol systems as well as applications. Currently, he is working on the time sensitive networking for industrial and automotive technologies. He is also Liaison for Intel with ZigBee and Thread Alliances as well as contributing to industrial certification in Avnu Alliance. He has invented more than 22 patents, published 20 international papers and contributed to ITU-T resolutions.
Mr. Matej Krajnc

With over 30 years of engineering industry experience, Matej Krajnc is an internationally-known speaker, trend analyst and applied engineering consultant. His expertise covers various fields, including automated test, control, and design for industries including military, aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing industries. Krajnc’s specializations include process engineering, computer-based modeling, system integration, and chemical engineering. He is an accredited computer process control specialist, a computer-based modeling engineer for adaptive control systems, and earned a degree of science in chemical engineering from the Chemical Engineering University in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
As managing director for the ASEAN and ANZ divisions of National Instruments, Krajnc is responsible for the growth of NI presence, visibility, sales, and application engineering throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. His experience has helped him establish NI as a powerful solutions provider throughout his region. He and his team have developed an excellent reputation as a resource for solving numerous industrial engineering challenges. This has led to a demand for his consultation on a variety of projects, as well as his presence as a speaker at industry venues.

Julian Lau is the Head of Solutions Architect ASEAN for Amazon Web Services. One of his main focus is to lead the team to involve in building and fostering ASEAN research institutions to accelerate scientific computing and data initiatives on the cloud. He is an expert in infrastructure automation, application deployment, and software development in the cloud. Julian helps customers to understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
